She received a CIDESCO diploma in 2012 which is the world’s prestigious qualification for Aesthetics and Beauty Therapy. The CIDESCO diploma is recognized in over 40 countries and has set international standards since 1957.
Julia was born in Ukraine in 1972. She graduated from university with a degree in materials engineering and worked in different positions in sales and management. In 2010 she married the love of her life and started a new life in Basel, Switzerland. She learned German and began an education as a beauty therapist with the goal of opening her own beauty salon.
She opened her cosmetic studio in 2012 and called it “Kosmetik Basel” with reference to her new home town. In 2020 Kosmetik Basel received the Award “Top Rated Studio” by Treatwell where – to date – she collected over 450 client ratings with an average score of 4.9 out of 5.
Kosmetik Basel Julia Hediger provides a great quality facials and body treatments. The atmosphere is very nice, Julia is very thoughtful and always suggests individual solutions based on my needs. Going back here after a long break due to lockdown and maternity leave was just a heavenly experience for a working mom of two. It’s extremely important taking a good care of yourself if you are constantly taking care of others, and this is my treat!
